All-on-4® New Teeth In One Day
Functional, Beautiful, and Lasting Teeth in One Day
Are you tired of wearing dentures that slip around or make it hard to eat the foods you like? Or do you have many broken-down teeth in need of replacement? With the All-On-4 procedure, our dentists can replace your smile with new, stable, and lasting teeth in just a few hours.
With a revolutionary procedure known as All-On-4, in just one visit, a patient can get any needed extractions, have implants placed, and walk out of the office with stable, functioning teeth.
The procedure is designed to take advantage of the denser bone in the front of the jaw for firm anchorage and uses angled implants in the back to avoid nerves and the sinus cavity. This allows Dr. Gray to use longer implants for increased bone-implant integration and greater support.
Advantages of All-On-4
Originally developed by Nobel Biocare® in 1990, the All-On-4 procedure has a proven record of patient satisfaction for providing maximum support with minimal surgery. It offers many advantages:
Only 4 Implants in Each Arch
The procedure is designed to take advantage of the denser bone in the front of the jaw for firm anchorage by using four specially angled, longer implants that avoid nerves and the sinus cavity. These advanced implants lead to better bone integration and greater support.
Restored Chewing Power
Whereas dentures provide as little as 10% of your normal chewing power, All-On-4 teeth are permanently attached, resulting in a recovery of 90% or more of your chewing power.
No Need for Bone Grafting or Sinus Lifts
Bone grafting is used for standard dental implant procedures to ensure there is sufficient bone to support the implants. Sinus lifts, the placing of bone material to raise the sinus floor, are sometimes necessary as well.
Because of the special implants utilized in the All-On-4 treatment, bone grafting and sinus lifts are not necessary, allowing for a minimally invasive and faster procedure. Because bone grafting isn’t required, All-On-4 opens the door to dental implants for all patients, even those with severe bone loss.
Preventing Bone Loss
The jawbone requires constant chewing pressure as a stimulus. When we’re missing teeth, this stimulation doesn’t happen and results in a noticeable loss in bone mass as the bone gets absorbed back into the body. In just the first year after losing a tooth, the jaw will lose 25% of the bone in the area where the tooth was.
Bone loss in the jaw can lead to shrinkage in the lower third of the face, making you appear more advanced in age as the jowls sag and the skin around the mouth becomes wrinkled.
Because of the stimulation of the implants in the jawbone, All-On-4 slows the progression of bone loss, helping patients avoid the sunken-in and prematurely aged look that typically accompanies long-term missing teeth.

Our Approach to All-on-4
Consultation
Your first step to permanent, fully functioning new teeth is a consultation with Dr. Gray or Dr. Nolen. The doctors will explain how the All-On-4 procedure works and answer any questions you have.
Comprehensive Diagnostics
Next, you will receive a complete examination of your mouth. Digital, panoramic X-rays will be taken, as well as intraoral photos.
Placing Your Procedure
Using your X-rays and intraoral photos, the doctor will meticulously plan your procedure, an essential part of the All-On-4 procedure. Using innovative guided implant surgery software, we can precisely plan how and where the implants will be placed in your jaw.
Placing Your Implants
With the placement of the implants planned ahead of time, the implants will be placed directly in their assigned positions, minimizing the need for cutting or stitches. The implants will be inserted at angles that will allow penetration of the densest parts of the jawbone, eliminating the need for bone grafting procedures.
Keeping You Comfortable
Your comfort during your procedure is important to us. The doctors will make you feel as relaxed as possible throughout your whole visit with their gentle, pain-free work.
As an option for anxious patients, we offer IV sedation, which is administered in our office by our board-certified anesthesiologist, Dr. Daniel Chang, who has been working with Dr. Poczatek and Dr. Gray for over 15 years.
Extractions
If necessary for your procedure, the doctor will perform gentle extractions.
Walk Out with New Teeth!
You can walk out of our office with a functional, beautiful set of temporary teeth the same day that you get your implants placed. Your temporary set will be used for about four months while the implants become fully integrated into the jawbone. Once the healing is completed, you’ll come into the office and have your permanent set of teeth fixed in place.
