Dr. Thieu Vo graduated from The University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry. During dental school, Dr. Vo was awarded the Birmingham District Dental Society Award for his outstanding clinical abilities overall in his class and the Brian D. Stone Memorial Award for his clinical charity contributions to the community. He is also a member of Academy of General Dentistry, International College of Oral Implantologists, and American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
After graduation, Dr. Vo completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at The Foundry Dental Center in Bessemer, AL. During his time there, he received extensive training in dental implant placements, bone grafting, extractions, and other surgical procedures. Dr. Vo is extremely passionate about his work and strives to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry techniques and advancements to be able to provide the highest quality of care to his patients.
Dr. Vo resides in Birmingham, AL with his fiancé, Dr. Amanda Fang, who is a Plastic Surgery Resident at The University of Alabama in Birmingham. During his spare time, Dr. Vo enjoys jiu-jitsu. He is currently a blue belt, and has placed in several tournaments.
