After being in private practice a few years, Dr. Deep was excited to partner with his professor in dental school, Dr. Jerry Black. Dr. Black, who was a well-known and respected worldwide lecturer and teacher of cosmetic dentistry, joined Dr. Deep and his partner in their practice. Dr. Deep is forever grateful for this relationship and the knowledge of dentistry that he gained from this mentorship.

Dr. Deep had a vision of a multi-specialty campus and surgery center in the Hoover community. He and his partners then developed the present-day Medplex campus.

Dr. Deep and his wife Rima have three children – Alexee Conroy (married to Matthew Conroy), Leila Head (married to Josh), and Nicholas (married to Maya). They also have five wonderful grandchildren. He and Rima are members of the Holy Cross-Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Dr. Deep enjoys working at their Greek Orthodox Food Festival each year and spending his free time at the lake. His artistic flair not only shows up in his dentistry but also in his pottery, which is displayed in many shops and galleries around town.
