Anna Waugh, DDS

Dr. Waugh is ecstatic to return to the Birmingham area that she called home for four years while she attended Samford University (go Dogs!!). She graduated summa cum laude in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, followed by a move to Memphis to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry.  

Upon graduation in 2022, she attended an advanced education in general dentistry residency at The Foundry, a year-long program that specializes in complex surgical cases, implants, extractions, bone grafting, and IV sedation.

Dr. Waugh is a strong believer in the power of interpersonal relationships and intentional patient care. She believes that great dentistry extends far beyond achieving your dream smile;  dentistry builds confidence, and confidence can change lives. In addition to providing a wide array of services, Dr. Waugh strives to welcome each patient into an anxiety free, conversationally-driven environment. 

Outside of the office, she is active in her community, she is a member of Samford University’s Junior Legacy League, and she attends Redeemer Community Church. In her spare time, Dr. Waugh loves cooking and hosting her friends and family, her morning spin classes, and diving into the Birmingham food scene.
