A Special Message From Luma Dentistry Regarding The Coronavirus (COVID-19)
As your trusted dental care professional, we take your health and safety as our number one priority. With this intent, we are continually monitoring the recommendations from the CDC, American Dental Association, and World Health Organization to ensure we are taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our patients, families, and community. Our hearts and thoughts go out to those affected by this unprecedented event.
It is our goal to continue to serve you throughout the public health crisis. One of the main objectives of the news coming from the CDC is to mitigate the effects of this pandemic with social distancing, screening, and testing.
While enforcing infection control and room sanitization standards has always been a priority at Luma Dentistry, we have implemented additional measures to ensure your safety.
⦁ We have confirmed that none of our team members will have traveled outside of the United States in the last few weeks.
⦁ Any team member with any symptoms of any respiratory illness or fever will be asked to stay home and not return to work until cleared by a physician
⦁ To ensure no one has a fever, we are checking each team member’s temperature every morning.
⦁ Patients will be able to and are encouraged to check into their appointment by phone upon arrival. If you choose to wait in your car, the office will text you when we are ready so you can move directly to the treatment area.
⦁ We will be taking temperatures of all patients. Patients who present with elevated temperatures will have any non-emergent treatment rescheduled.
⦁ We are asking that all patients who have recently traveled into any outbreak regions in the past few weeks or are presenting with any symptoms to call the office and reschedule their appointments.
We are 100% confident our country’s dealing with this virus. The most prudent things is for all of us to follow the advice of our public health officials.
